The School Day

The school day runs for 08:45 – 3:15pm Monday to Friday providing the statutory amount of hours (32.5) for school to be open. 

Our gates open promptly from 08:30 to 08:40 each morning, allowing children to enter the school safely and settle into the school environment. A member of staff will welcome children onto the school site, children from year 1 to year 6 will enter and walk round to their classrooms independently.  Children in Nursery and reception will be accompanied by their parents to the classrooms. 

The official school day starts at 08:45 when children are expected to be in their class ready for learning. If children arrive after the gates have closed, they must come in to school via the office, if students arrive after 08:45 they will receive a late mark.
